Questions About QB Online Stores

  1. How are the QB Online Stores managed?
    The stores are hosted by Queensboro Shirt Company (Queensboro.com). With over 30 years in the custom logo apparel business, we have strong presence in the industry. To get you started, we set up storefronts based on our QBOS model, focused on your business and brand. As the store's Administrator, you control the pricing, the products and logo options offered, and many site functions to make the shopping experience themed to your brand. Queensboro takes care of all order processing, customer service and fulfillment.
  2. How much can I mark up my items and in what increments?
    The markup can be done by a percentage point or a dollar amount. You will have the ability to mark up all items with the same increment or to price each item individually. The amount you increase it will depend on your audience and how much you feel they will pay for items with your logos/designs.
  3. Will the logos on my Queensboro.com customer account be in the store?
    All logos ready to use at Queensboro.com will show up on the administrator's page. A Logo will become visible to customers once you have paired a style to the logo. If there are no products attached to the logo, your customers will not be able to see the logo.
  4. Can my customers upload logos on my QB Online Store?
    The only logos on your site are the logos you (The Administrator) submit and approve via your Queensboro.com account.
  5. How can I upload Logos to my QB Online Store?
    All logos must be uploaded to your Queensboro account. It is not available until you have placed one order through Queensboro.com with the new logo. We do this so you can view the logo and make sure it meets your expectations before adding it for sale to your customer base. Once you have approved the design proof and the order is processed, it will then be available on your QB Online Store. To upload an image:
    1. Visit Queensboro.com
    2. Log into your account
    3. Click on Logo Studio on the green menu bar.
    4. Upload your image into the Logo Studio
    5. Place an order using the logo.
  6. Can QB Online Store customers choose embroidered logo colors?
    Only the QBOS Administrator controls logo colors for embroidered apparel. Your customers can only select what the administrator has chosen to sell. You have full control over the products, their colors and logos you wish to include on your QB Online Store. With functionality in the QBOS, you can change the thread colors of each element of an embroidered logo for the different color apparel you offer it on.
  7. Will the QB Online Store get the same sales and promotions as Queensboro.com?
    The QB Online Store default pricing will not change for sales or promotions offered at Queensboro.com. There are specific promotions available for QB Online Stores. The coupon codes are displayed on the Welcome page and are provided via email to each Store's Administrator. To increase sales, we suggest QBOS Admins send out their store promotions using social media and their email lists.
  8. Do I have to pay setup fees for new logos uploaded to my Queensboro.com account?
    If you are a new customer placing your initial order, we will set up your embroidered logo for no charge if it is evaluated as a Standard logo requiring less than 11,000 stitches. If your logo is ordered for digitally printed apparel and is the correct file type and resolution, there will be no logo fees. If you are an existing customer with an order history, you may add new logos to your Logo Studio and place an order with them to initiate the set up process. Set up fees will apply for each embroidered logo ordered after your initial one has been created. You may contact Customer Service and request your logo be set up for digital printing. There will be no charge for the digitally printed logo if the file type and resolution meets our guidelines.   9. Will my QB Online Store customers be emailed promotions?
    You customers will never be included in emails from Queensboro unless they have registered specifically on the Queensboro site. These are YOUR customers. When your new customers log into your site, they have an opportunity to opt in for promotions. This will be used in the future for QB Online Store promotions we will offer you and your site.
  10. Why can't I add hats and/or fleece items to my QB Online Store?
    Hats and fleece both have different logo requirements and need to be set up separately for embroidery. Once these logos are set up and are ready to use you will be able to make these products available to your customers. Please contact us for a review of your account's logo options.
  11. Can I offer promotional items without having my Customers order by a minimum quantity?
    We can offer promotional items to you for your website but it is not the same as adding apparel. Unlike the typical QBOS model where there is no risk for apparel orders, promotional products need to be preordered by you and we will hold the inventory to fulfill your QBOS orders. For example, if you want to offer mugs, you would need to purchase the minimum quantity (24 units). We would hold them in our warehouse and monitor the inventory. They would appear on your site with a base price of only $.25 for our handling fee. You would mark them up to re-coup your expenses and - if desired - increase it additionally to make a profit. This is a case by case basis and needs to be handled manually. Please contact a QBOS Manager for more details.
  12. If Queensboro.com does not offer a specific item, can I request for it to be on my store?
    If you have specific requests, we will address them as they are brought to our attention. As you can imagine, with all the current QB Online stores and different styles out there, we are limited to what we can add to our complete inventory.
